Dropper Schedule
You have more time than anyone. Use it like no one else will.
C2D Dropper's Schedule · Designed by Kaphal Studio Duration: 36 weeks · Target Exams: NID · UCEED · NIFT · Effort: 5–6 hours/day
But first read this blog to understand the document in detail.
Most droppers waste the first 3 months. They feel guilty, they overthink, they wait to "feel ready." Then they panic in the last 2 months and cram.
Don't do that. The students who crack NID and UCEED aren't the most talented ones. They're the ones who showed up consistently, every single day, for a long time.
You now have the time to be that person.
What this year actually looks like
We've built a 36-week schedule specifically for you. This maps directly to what the exams actually test.
It runs on two tracks simultaneously, every day:
Track 1 is Part B. Drawing, product design, posters, logos, storyboards, form, creativity. This is where you build the skill that no one can fake on exam day.
Track 2 is Part A. Design awareness, reasoning, observation, PYQ practice, basic maths. This is where you build the knowledge and speed that separates toppers from the rest.
Please note that both tracks run together from Week 1. Not one after the other. Together.
The weekly structure
Monday to Friday, your day looks like this: morning for drawing and Part B work, afternoon for Part A and reading, evening for C2D live class at 8 PM.
Saturday is OLP Sprint. Every Saturday, professionals from the industry come in for live sprints, tasks, and real feedback. It's free and open to everyone, enrolled or not. This is the most important hour of your week. Do not skip it.
Sunday is offline class in New Delhi at Jhandewalan. If you're in Delhi, show up.
The four phases
Phase 1 (Weeks 1-12) is foundation. You're learning the grammar: how to draw basic forms, observe properly, solve visual puzzles, and understand what design awareness actually means. This runs alongside C2D Module 1.
Phase 2 (Weeks 13-24) is where you go deeper and start getting tested. Weekly NID, UCEED, and NIFT style tests. Your drawing gets faster, your ideas get sharper. C2D Module 2.
Phase 3 (Weeks 25-30) is three back-to-back crash courses: one for NID, one for UCEED, one for NIFT. 14 days each. Daily live sessions, daily questions, daily feedback. C2D Modules 3, 4, 5.
Phase 4 (Weeks 31-36) is exam simulation. Full timed papers. Speed drills. You're not learning anything new: you're performing everything you've built. C2D Module 6.
Joining late?
If you are getting this schedule later in the year, simple rule: for every week you've missed, do 2 weeks of work in 1 week. Phase 1 is the most compressible: it's about building habits, not giving tests. Get through it fast and merge into the live schedule.
If you're in C2D
This schedule is built to run alongside C2D, not instead of it. The live classes at 8 PM are your anchor. Use mornings and afternoons for this plan so that by the time you sit in class, you've already done the work and the class hits differently.
If you're not in C2D
Start with the OLP Sprints on Saturday. They're free. See what the community feels like. When you're ready, C2D Module 1 is where you begin.
You have 36 weeks. That's more than enough.
Enjoy you Preparation!
